Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your order from Gaelic Imports. This policy covers returns, exchanges and refunds for purchases made online.

Food and perishable items

For health and safety reasons, food items (bakery, café items, and any perishable grocery goods) cannot be returned once delivered or collected. If an item arrives damaged, spoiled, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours at gaelicimportsonline@gmail.com or (773) 792-1905 with your order number and a photo where possible, and we will replace it or issue a refund. Packaged grocery items carry the original manufacturer's own ingredient and allergen labeling — that label is the only guarantee we can make about a product's contents, so please check it before eating if you have a food allergy or sensitivity. Café and bakery items are prepared in a shared kitchen where common allergens such as milk, eggs, wheat/gluten, soy, tree nuts and peanuts are used, and we cannot guarantee any item is free of these or any other allergen, including fish, shellfish and sesame.

Non-food items

Non-food items (gifts, apparel, homeware and similar) may be returned within 14 days of delivery or collection, unused and in their original packaging, for a refund to your original payment method. Contact us first at gaelicimportsonline@gmail.com so we can arrange the return.

Damaged, incorrect, or unavailable orders

If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours and we will make it right at no cost to you — a replacement or a full refund, your choice. If an item you ordered turns out not to be available, we'll contact you before fulfilling it so you can choose a substitute, a refund for that item, or to cancel the order entirely — you will never be charged for an item we can't actually provide.

Gift cards

Gift cards are non-refundable but do not expire.

Refund processing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
