Most Irish subscription and gift boxes ship straight from Ireland. That means international transit, real customs risk at your door, and a box that's already travelled thousands of miles before it reaches you. Ours doesn't. Every box goes out from right here in Jefferson Park, Chicago — the same real Irish goods, domestic post, zero customs, typically 2–5 business days once nationwide shipping is live.

How it works
Pick your box
Choose the box that suits and check out — just like any other order. It becomes your standing monthly order. You can change the box, pause it or cancel any time, just by contacting us.
We pack it by hand
Packed by hand with care in Jefferson Park. We pick what's good that month rather than shipping the same box forever.

Posted from Jefferson Park, anywhere in the 48 contiguous states. Shipping is included — no surprises at checkout.
Questions people ask
Can I cancel?
Any time — just contact us, no notice needed and nothing to explain. Skip a month, pause for the summer, or stop entirely.
Can I change what's in my box, or switch boxes?
Yes — contact us any time. Tell us if someone's not a fan of something, or if there's a favourite you'd like in every box, and we'll work around it.
Can I send one to someone else?
That's what most people do. Use their address at checkout and add a message in the notes, and we'll include a gift card and post it straight to them.
Does fresh or frozen bakery come in the box?
No — soda farls, boxty, sausage rolls and fresh loaves don't travel well, so we keep those for the shop. Everything in a subscription box is shelf-stable and built to arrive in good shape. Fresh, chilled and frozen items (puddings, sausages, bacon, meat pies, soda bread, café food) are pickup-only for now. We're working on shipping frozen goods and expect to add it in a few weeks — ask us or check back.
When does it arrive?
Boxes go out in the first week of each month, once nationwide shipping starts on 16 October. Most arrive within 2–5 business days.
What does An Cupán mean?
“The cup” — as in a cup of tea. An Cófra is the pantry or press, and An tSeilf Iomlán means the full shelf. A bit of Irish never hurt anyone.
